Binding: 17th- or 18th-century French mottled calf over pasteboards, with gilded arms of the Lamoignon family. The leather is worn away at the hinges. Front cover board is almost completely detached. Leather is crumbly in places. Spine is deteriorating and separating from the binding in places.
