    Written in England, Essex and dated 30 December 1 Charles I (1626) and 1634. Inscription in a near-contemporary hand on lower middle portion of dorse: "30 Dec 1625 Richards Leaks Will Essex__5" ; followed by "Essex | II" in pencil. Also in pencil on dorse, "2311."
