The presence of the Mass for the Nativity of Bernard is somewhat unusual and indicative of the manuscript's Cistercian use. The possible ascription fo the MS to Neuborg Abbey is due to the presence of the abbey's arms (sable, with double tower argent) in the border of the folio bearing the text for the feast of Ephiphany.
