    Origin: Probably written in the Cistercian abbey of Morimondo (founded Nov. 10, 1134, Diocese of Milan), to judge by the entry "Item Ysidorus super vetum testamentum" in an inventory of books of this monastery (inventory is part of a lectionary in the collection of Philip Hofer, De Ricci, p. 1693, no. 5), and also by the characteristic script.
