    An inscription in a later hand on fol. 95a bears the date "21st of Tishrīn al-Thānī 1038" which would make it 1628, but this is in the same hand as an additional inscription in the margin of the same fol. and this has dates 28th of Ḥazīrān 1310 (1893) and 7th of Muḥarram 1312 (1894), so the first date is most probably an error for 1308 or similar, and does not mean that the ms. dates before 1628.
