Origin: Written in the Netherlands, probably Delft, in the third quarter of the 15th century. This leaf is quite similar in style and format to BPL MS q Med.86, and appears to be from the same workshop.

Provenance: Removed from a book of hours, formerly in the collection of Philip J. van Alfen (1894-1969). This manuscript was offered by Sotheby's, London, in 1972 (10 July, lot 72) and later by Christie's, London, in 1986 (25 June, lot 201) and was dismembered shortly after.
