    Initial R with the Resurrection
    0 references
This initial begins the Introit for Easter Sunday, 'Resurrexi et adhuc tecum sum ...' (I have risen and am still with thee). The illumination has been attributed to the anonymous Master of the Franciscan Breviary, so-called after a breviary dated to 1446 in the Biblioteca Universitaria in Bologna, Italy.
