Origin: The colophon on fol. 143a is for a text that is not present, the Shāhnūmah of Muḥammad Jamāl al-Dīn. This leaf has been pasted to fol. 142 in the inner margin. However, the paper is the same and there is a similar pattern of damp staining along the lower edge, making it likely that this leaf was part of the original ms. but that the Shāhnūmah was subsequently excised.
