A caligraphic ownership signature in black ink laced with gold glitter on fol. 2a in the name of Saʻdī ʻĪsá Amīr Khān [?], dated [1]100 (1688-89). If the date is a later addition, this could be the signature of the Shaykh al-Islām Saʻdī Chalabī, Saʻd Allāh ibn ʻĪsá ibn Amīr Khān (d. 1538 or 9).
