Origin: Monastic, probably from Rhineland region, based on scripts. Has large watermark ("three mounts" surmounted by a long angular cross) of same type as Briquet 11804, 11808, and 11811, which points to paper manufactured in area between Bamberg and central Austria during last quarter of 15th century.
