Origin: Written in France in the second half of the 12th century. Quire signatures and note on fol. 33 ("xii[us] q[ua]t[er]n[us], s[ed] seq[ue]ns pr[ae]pon[en]d[us] e[st]") suggest that this was once part of a larger codex. David Ganz identifies Newberry Library's Case MS 129, containing Anticlaudianus, as part of this larger codex; the Newberry codex has a matching vellum binding and contains...
