Verso of leaf [1] contains a large illuminated painting of the Virgin and Child, with a smaller painting below of Juan Ortiz Campoy, seated with his wife, Ynés, and his daughter, María; wide gold and red architectural border on three sides contains 15 gold medallions, each containing a painted scene from the life of Christ; red silk guard leaf.

Recto of leaf [2] contains a full-page painting of the arms and armor of the Campoy family in gray, blue, gold, green, burgundy, and ocher, with motto "Soy Canpoy"; wide gilt border filled with paintings of urns, cornucopias, flowers, winged mermaids, fountains, swans and acanthus leaves; cartouche at bottom center with date "Año 1620 y Setie.
