Origin: Written in northern Italy in the middle of the 11th century, at Novalesa, as indicated by note on fol. 107v confirming perpetual wine supply to Saint Peter's at Novalesa. Fol. 12r, 17th century marginal note confirms presence at Novalesa. Fol. 1-107v was a separate book before being bound together with fol. 108-115; notes and restoration of obliterated portions date from the 18th century.
