Verso contains address to Clusius in Mechelen; dates on which Clusius received Pantius' letter (March 11, 1569) and responded (April 1, 1569); and filing information ("16, p. 7"). A note in a different, later, hand identifies the dates as being in Clusius' own hand: "Autographum Caroli Clusii botanici celeberrimi."
