Sewn but lacking a binding. Wrapped in a 17th-century archival paper wrapper that is sewn to the manuscript. This cover measures 30 x 21 cm and was folded to fit leaves measuring 23 x 21 cm. It contains the notation "No. 26" and a description of the manuscript.
