15 lines per page. Written in a medium small taʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Few pages at the start have a single line text frame in red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Thin wove paper with "Bath" and "Papeterie Orientale a Smyrne" blind stamps, colored variously in different shades of yellow, pink, blue and green.
