Physical description: 27 lines per page, in four columns; written in small nastaʻliq in black on beige glazed, laid Arabic paper. Text framed in gold, maroon, green, and blue; columns separated by double gold lines. Catchwords; headings in red. Damp staining on lower, outer corner and other occasional staining; some leaves are loose. Otherwise in excellent condition.

Decoration: On fol. 1b-2a, two large rosettes illuminated in gold and color. On fol. 2b-3a, two lavishly illuminated panels in gold and color, but no inscriptions. Illuminated ʻunwāns at the beginning of each poem.
