17 lines per page. Written in a small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Light cream paper with visible chain lines. Fol. 2a has two couplets of poetry, and a short inscription by Muḥammad Valī Ṭāghatānī [?] saying that he commenced the translation of the work into Persian on the first day of Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1310 (1892).
