The colophon (fol. 74b) states that "a portion" [?] of this book (tamma miqdār hadhā al-kitāb) was completed in 1170 (1756-57), but there is no evidence of any part of the ms. being in a different hand, or in different ink or on different paper from the rest. Given the ownership date on fol. 2a, 1170 is possibly an error for 1107 (1695-96) [?].
