Decoration: Well-executed illuminations. On fol. 1a, illuminated mandorla with pendants in gold and color. On fol. 1b, illuminated ʻunwān in gold and color; on fol. 1b-2a, margins illuminated with foliar pattern, and text framed in gold and decorated with gold arabesque. Remainder of text framed in blue and gold, with columns separated by double gold lines. Space after colophon on fol. 162b...

Origin: On fol. 72a, 19 Rabīʻ II 1147 H [18 September 1734], Muḥammad Bāqir ibn Qivām al-Dīn Ḥusayn Shīrāzī. On fol. 84a, 8 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1170 H [25 July 1757], Shujāʻ al-Dīn Maḥmūd al-Ḥusaynī. The poem "Maḥmūd Āyāz" by Zalālī is stated to have been originally completed in 1014 H (fol. 162b).
