Spine cover consists of binder's waste taken from the February 1867 issue of the Zeitschrift des landwirtschaftlichen Vereins in Bayern, under the editorship of Bavarian politician and agronomist Adam Müller. Flyleaves consist of manuscript fragments: front in Icelandic, back in Latin.
