    The ms. is related to Palatino di Parma, MS 344. Revisions to the text of the sonnets in that ms., made in the hand of Annibale Caro, are incorporated into the text in this one. The sonnet on f. 40 is also not in the Parma ms.

    The text is written in a fine diminutive italic hand in brown ink, the initial letters of lines 1, 5, 9 and 12 of each sonnet slightly separated into the left margin.
