Physical description: 12 lines per page, in two columns; written in nastaʻliq in black on tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Text framed in blue and gold with double gold lines separating columns. Extensive staining and smudging; fol. 1-2, 48-49, 126-127 set in new frames. Fol. 1 particularly damaged, with some loss of text. However, ms. still largely legible.

Decoration: On fol. 1b, 49b, illuminated ʻunwāns in gold, blue, and other colors. The first is badly damaged: part of lower half is torn away and there is heavy smudging. The second is somewhat smudged in the lower half.
