Paper is laid glazed stock, handmade. First leaf has repair to outer margin. Upper half of most leaves are water stained. Minor insect damage to some leaves at back of book. Text has been trimmed.

19th century lacquered binding. Spine brown leather. Covers have two frames with floral motif. Outer frame is gold on black; inner frame has multi-hued flowers on green or black in four cartouches; gilt angle decorations. Centers have arabesque design. P. 2 and 3 of covers have black frame with gilt folial design; centers are red with gilt floral design.
