Binding: Lacquered boards with bird and flowers and a gold frame, front and back covers identical. Inside covers show a bright red field with a gold central medallion, four pendants along the vertical axis and a gold frame with corner flourishes.

Decoration: Two illuminated headpieces chiefly in gold and blue with the text on the full page-opening written on cloudbands (f. 4v-5r, 61v-62r). Rules in gold around the textblock, between the columns, and along the angled marginal lines; page-opening also framed with a gold rule.
