    It may have been produced as the personal copy of the seigneur. The site is likely to be identifiable as La Chapelle-Gaceline (Morbihan) in Brittany. The place-names, Caro, Le Tay and perhaps also La Gaial (perhaps La Gacilly), point to the immediate surrounds of La Chapelle-Gaceline.
