Initial G with the Adoration of Christ
    0 references
This initial was illuminated by Georg and Leonhard Beck, a father-and-son team of illuminators working in Augsburg from ca. 1490 to ca. 1512, when Georg, the father, died. The liturgy that this initial begins remains to be identified, although it surely begins a chant sung during Christmas Day.
