    Decoration: Initials of different sizes representing several different styles, including historiated and anthropomorphic initials as well as those with foliate and penwork decorations. About half have either a gold background or another decoration in gold; parts of border decorations of different styles.

    Music: The fragment that constitutes the first folio of the codex as well as the cuttings pasted on folios 3r, 4r, 14r, 18r, 37r, 38r, 39r, 47r, 48r and 52r contain music, mostly square notation on four-line staff in red.

    Early history of the manuscript is unknown. Possible bookseller marks in pencil in upper left corner of front pastedown: "ycx / 325." Octagonal paper label with a blue border and a handwritten number "3463" adhered to tail of spine.
