Provenance: Used in the eighteenth century as a cover for the Index Librorum Prohibitorum, that title written on what would have been the spine of the covered book; the dimensions of the covered book (160 x 120 mm, approx. 40 mm thick (or around 250 leaves)) suggest the editions of 1704, 1716 or 1734.
