Origin: Produced in the Duchy of Cleve (now Germany), as indicated by the coat of arms on fol. 1r and by the dialect (East Middle Dutch), probably the second quarter of the 15th cent. The illustrations are confined to the margins and may be of a later (1460-1480?) date.
