    Acknowledgment by Pierre de Tarville, master of the guard at Neuville-aux-Bois (near Orléans in France) of receipt of the sum of 20 livres 15 sols, from Guillaument le Moine, the Receiver of the Duchy of Orléans. Of this sum, 18 livres 5 sols is for his year's salary (at 2s. a day) and the rest for his dress allowance.
