    Binding: Modern. Bound in paste paper in dark blue patterns over paper boards. Two paper labels adhered to spine: a rectangular label on the head and a spiked round label on the tail, which is inscribed in ink "4?060" and "? III N".

    Origin: Probably written in Germany and completed on January 5, 1433: "Anno d[omi]ni 1433 in p[ro]xi[m]a die an[te] oct[av]as ep[i]ph[a]n[i]e d[omi]ni hora q[ua]si 4ta p[ost] me[r]idiem" -- colophon, folio 21v.

    In good condition except for a few ink smears. Minor damage on the binding along the spine and the outer edges. Contemporary marginal annotations and corrections throughout the manuscript, possibly by the scribe themself.

    Early history of the manuscript is unknown. Two paper labels adhered to spine. Bookseller annotations in pencil on front pastedown: "Bonaventura," "15th c[entury]," "S. Bonaventura," "1433," "Soliloquium," "ZB 97665" by different hands in upper left, "Ms. 208" in lower right. The inscription from the spiked round label at the tail of spine repeated in pencil in upper right of front pastedown...
