Physical description: 19 lines per page; written in small nastaʻliq in black on tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Rubrication and catchwords; crossouts and marginal notes in the same hand. Diagrams and charts in red and black. Light staining; in excellent condition. After title and author on fol. 2a is the note "bi-khaṭṭihi al-sharīf."

On fol. 2b, seal dated 1061 H [1650 or 51]. On fol. 3a, seven owner's seals, one of which belongs to Muḥammad ʻAlam al-Hudá, descendant of the famous scholar Fayḍ al-Kāshī (1598 or 9-1680 or 81) [according to the note on fol. 2b]; as well as several notes, one of which is dated 1261 H [1845]. On fol. 34b, two seals and a note.
