Physical description: 14 lines per page, in 1-2 columns; written in calligraphic nastaʻliq in black on beige glazed, laid European paper. Catchwords. Text framed in blue, black, gold, and maroon lines with outer marginal black and gold frame. Marginal paper repairs to a few leaves; some smudging. Damp staining across upper margin. Frames partially detached on some leaves due to verdigris damage.

Decoration: Illuminated ʻunwān on fol. 1b in a delicate floral pattern primarily of gold, blue, and maroon; margins of fol. 1b-2a decorated with floral/foliar design in the same colors, and the spaces between lines of text are partially filled with gold. Fol. 1 has extensive repairs and smudging, but decoration is largely intact.
