    Physical description: 9 lines per page, in two columns; written in elegant shikastah in black on heavy, glazed paper. Text and columns framed in black and gold with gold-sprinkled background and similar outer marginal frame. Headings in red or blue. Light staining; otherwise in excellent condition.

    Decoration: Very well-executed illuminated ʻunwān on fol. ib, primarily in gold with blue and red floral and arabesque pattern. Basmalah in red and set within a cloud on gold ground. Text on fol. ib-1a set within gold-sprinkled clouds on gold ground; space between columns filled with gold floral/foliar pattern.
