Physical description: 17 lines per page. Written in medium small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Vocalization of the Arabic parts of the text in red. The text is framed in ruled red and blue lines, with an outer frame consisting of a single red line. Interlinear and marginal annotations in red and black, chiefly explanation of words. Margins worm-eaten.

Decoration: Two first pages of text illuminated (fol. 1b-2a), with headpiece in blue, gold and color, with floral motif ; text written in clouds left plain on a gold ground defined in black ; ruled frame in gold, blue, and green, outer frame consisting of one single red line.
