The ms. is a composite codex: several pages at the beginning and fol. 137-188 are a later replacement. This replacement is dated the last 10 days of Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1119 (1708) and was copied by Ahmet Vehbi el-Kastamonî, a former kadi of the town of ... [?]. The rest of the ms., the original copy, is older, the earliest date present on that part of ms. being that of Shaʻbān 1097 (1686) (see one...

The older section of the ms. is written inside a single line frame outlined in red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Two different types of glazed paper.
