The colophon states that the author and calligrapher is Fadwá Gulāb Rāʼī, an inhabitant of Tajganj [Agra], and a student at the Madrasah of Sarkar Faiz East India Company (Angrez Bahadur) (f. 42r). Probably the Agra College, founded in 1823.
