Origin: Princeton MS. 125 was copied by a Spanish Franciscan named Fray Antonio de Sant Roma(?), who completed work on the manuscript in 1595, according to a scribal note on fol. 191v.

By the 19th century and probably earlier, the manuscript was owned by the Franciscans of San Pedro Regalado in La Aguilera, Aranda de Duero, near Burgos, Spain. Their blue oval stamp is found throughout the manuscript (fols. 1r, 31r, 66r, 106r. In 1980, Martin J. Cooper donated the manuscript to the Princeton University Library (AM 81-63).
