Decoration: Two-line initials throughout in red and blue with white filigree highlighting and spiked bar extensions with foliate ends extending well into margins.

Decoration 2: When whole, the manuscript had 309 leaves, thirty-five large decorative initials with burnished gold, numerous smaller initials, and four historiated initials, three depicting the celebration of mass, and the fourth, Ecclesia and Synagoga.

Provenance 2: It was last recorded as complete (and described in detail) when it was sold at Sotheby's London on 4 May 1926, lot 161, as part of the Brölemann collection (SDBM 6017). In that catalogue, the lower edge of the manuscript was described as gilt "au pointillé"; the gilt is still discernable on the leaves' edges.
