Physical description: 17 lines per page; written in small nastaʻliq in black on glazed, laid Arabic paper. Text bordered by gold lines; columns separated by double gold lines. Headings in gold; catchwords. Fol. 1a-2a, 142b are gold-sprinkled. Light staining and smudging; otherwise in excellent condition.

Decoration: On fol. 1a, title set within mandorla illuminated with blue, gold, and green. On fol. 1b, illuminated ʻunwān in gold and colors, inscribed in white with "al-Ḥamd li-walīh."

Origin: According to colophon, copy completed by Yaʻqūb ibn ʻAbd al-Karīm on 6 Rabīʻ II 843 H [16 September 1439], but a later hand has written an illegible number over the second digit in the year (fol. 142b).
