Layout: Written in 20-30 long lines, usually above top line, but not consistently. Folios 24v, 62r (partly), 62v, 125r, 125v are in two columns, all of which contain tables of contents. Frame ruled in lead, with full-length vertical and horizontal bounding lines. Pricking marks visible on the outer margins of most leaves.

Binding: Romanesque, possibly original. Bound in full reversed leather over wooden boards, with three slit straps and endbands laced through channels and fixed with nails on the front of the board. The cover, the straps and the endbands seem to have been dyed red, which is now mostly faded. Tail endband and the sewing support closer to the tail are broken. Blind-tooling on front and back...

In good condition except for yellowing and foxing on paper throughout, especially on the outer edges of the leaves. Bookworm damage throughout, especially worse on the first and last leaves, with some loss of text. Remnants of a parchment fragment on the head edge turn-in of the back cover, which possibly indicates that the manuscript originally had repurposed parchment pastedowns. Red stains...
